Having started and performed in several vocal groups since high school, Jimmy Lynch became one of the most influental black comedians on planet earth. During his long career, which still continues to this day, he adapted the "Funky Tramp" and "Mr. Motion" character to vinyl, selling hundred thousands copies of his multiple comedy albums throughout years. Beside being a recording artist, Lynch also appeared in some movies of his longtime friend, legendary comedian, Rudy Ray Moore such as Dolomite (1975), The Human Tornado (1976), and Petey Wheatstraw: The Devil's Son-In-Law (1977). Notions of Mr. Motion and On Broadway were originally released back-to-back on 45rpm single on the LaVal label in the late 1960s.
