second album by Dudley Perkins aka Declaime, entirely produced by Madlib. This is for the soul brothers out there that still love some raw Madlib shit, but love that soul music too. Dudley is no Erykah, that's pretty much obvious, although some called him early Erykah on acid, but he does a good job coming to melodies and hooks. His sing-sang, talking (remember Isaac or Barry?) style is not really comparable to many people nowadays but once you get hooked on, you won't leave it untouched anymore. Madlib delivers some really smooth joints on here that just life the legacy of their first collaboration "flowers" on. Beautiful groovy loops with Dudley talking bout God, Life, Children, Money and what else is important in his life.
