Percee P's debut on Stones Throw has been anticipated for 3 years, through selective guest appearances and the recent Chrome Children world tour. Embodying the term Perseverance in both name and spirit, Percee P followed the grass roots path throughout his career, but his debut album is now here: 22 tracks produced by Madlib and a limited edition 2nd disc of remixes.
“Watch Your Step” marks his third 12-inch single (following “Put It On The Line” and “Throwback Rap Attack”) from the album. Featuring guest appearances by the gravel-throated Vinnie Paz of Jedi Mind Tricks, and recent Stones Throw signee Guilty Simpson from Detroit.
