Some albums are harder to fit into a certain category than others, and Quetzal’s Vision is just one of those albums, exploring different musical styles with a roots, groovy, and technical yet subtle style, full of 70s sounds, mainly latin and jamaican, and a touch of hip hop and soul. Intrumental or vocal, warm and authentic, the tracks on Vision plunge the listener into a haunting and trippy atmosphere, a deep immersion into the heart of rthym, peppered with English, Spanish and Brazilian lyrics. The endless references in Vision, should they be literary, political or musical, allow Quetzal to highlight all of the atmospheres and influences that sway him, and incorporate them into his tracks.
