Meister Lampe continues his musical journey around the world. After his successful debut album «Orb» he returns after exactly one year with an exciting and colorful sequel: Orb II.
After the successful solo debut «Orb» – the limed vinyl was sold out after only a short time – Meister Lampe once again packed this beatmaker equipment in his suitcase in the summer of ’18 and set off again. On his route he picked samples and typical sound images from all around the globe, cutted, pitched or changed them and composed his own musical collages. Sometimes with juicy drums and percussion and sometimes with quieter tones.
«Orb II» is an instrumental album with clear hip-hop influences, mixed across the musical genres and influences of the individual countries. This time Meister Lampe travels musically to India, Grenada, Brazil and then make a detour to Benin and Cape Verde.
In the end there is much more than just a travelogue to get discovered: it is a record with a great suspense, one or two long-term classics and a lot of love in detail.“
