Sa-Ra, a three-headed producer trio, is making some buzz with their recent two releases on different labels with extensive but exquisite artwork. this is the one on ubiquity with a nice photo shot of party having people (likely themselves), that expresses very much the feeling you get from this record. sweaty, heavy funkadelic-like club-hop r'n'b. covering a range of sound that goes from neptunes- to jay dilla-ish and some weird groovy yesterdays new quintet madlib shit. spaced-out funky r'n'b hip hop from the next decade - they already get hyped, but this is not some blow up till it pops ballon, this is some really outstanding skills-steeped super group that's already starting out
watch out for the heat!
