Al Brown's Tunetoppers made their mark with 'The Madison', the smash hit tribute to one of the biggest dance crazes of the era. Though they may be much less well known, these two crackers show that the Baltimore troupe were far from one hit wonders. 'Take Me Back' is a dancefloor burner with a tempo and rhythm more suited to the Twist than the Madison, while 'Sweet Little Love' is a more languid, jazzy, finger-clicking affair, oozing with hip attitude and charm. |
