since his remarkable achievement as a story telling emcee on the Soul Position release (together with RJD2), samples of his voice are trapped in my mind. he may not have the tightest flow around but the talent to accent his rhymes emphatically, and in the end leaving you flabbergasted. equally talented to his mouth are his hands, handling the production on the whole album by himself, this comes together as one hell of an album - reminiscing about the year 1998, you'll get the crunchy boombox rap that you wanna hear. if you thought Soul Position was mainly impressive because of RJD2's production, then this proves you wrong! |
