Our self-titled pilot release is a revival of the classical 70's club sound: a mixture of soft-funk, bluesy soul and latin rock. The smooth and mellow sound palette of entire record is complemented by a combination of saxophones and violas on such tracks as "Sad disco" and "Melancholy" and blowing grooves and wild solos on "Action directe" and "Chick Latin Femine". The warm sound of all-analogue recording, direct-from-tape mastering produce a great quality vinyl with no corners cut. Produced by saxophonist and producer Andre Solomko. Recorded and mixed at VinylJam studio, Helsinki, Finland. Mastered at The Echange Studios, London by Graeme Durham. Pressed in France. Vinyl Jam Records (VJAM2006). |
