Snoop Dogg & Dam-Funk's album 7 Days of Funk is being released as a 45 box set, with a total of 16 tracks: each song on the album released on 7-inch single, backed with it's instrumental version. The box set includes a bonus record with "Wingz" (not available on any other format) b/w "Systamatic".
Dam-Funk and Snoopzilla are 7 Days of Funk! The debut album from 7 Days of Funk, the new band of Snoopzilla (Snoop Dogg) and Dam- Funk. Snoopzilla is the funk alias of Snoop Dogg, the multi-platinum hip-hop artist who has received 15 Grammy nominations and sold over 30,000,000 records. Dam-Funk is a Modern Funk artist widely credited with the revival of funk music. His debut album Toeachizown was described by Pitchfork as "a work of real transcendence." This is Snoop's first album with a single producer since the 1993 album Doggystyle. Funk legend and former Slave member Steve Arrington features on 7 Days of Funk, as does the rapper Kurupt and,his rap group Tha Dogg Pound. |
