A-Z is a new label started by Al Zanders! This stand-out new production talent has already, across only a handful of releases (As Lodger on the Stamp label & under his own name on Karakul & Blind Jacks Journey) made quite a name for himself ! A-Z is a new platform for his distinctive and eclectic output.
After sharing a stage at Shambala festival, Al was impressed by the 7 piece Sheffield group Hot Diamond Aces, who sent the crowd into a dancing frenzy with their bombastic brass licks and Afro-beat inspired rhythms.
So impressed in fact, that he approached them afterwards with the idea of doing a remix and starting a label. The reworked version of 'DSOMC' is a certified corker that has already been tearing up dancefloors.
For the flip, things get deeper with an unashamedly happy House jam 'Raiz', which features some twinkling keys from Sleepsang.
