This album demonstrates the Senegalese band's ability to cross over different kinds of music, including Mbalax, Afro-Cuban and Afro-Jazz ballads, without loosing any tip from its original psychedelic sound with the fuzz guitars, strong horn sections and percussion. The result was a unique identity and sound. |
