Great 12" featuring two superb rarities from renowned disco label Sound Of New York. Run by legendary producer Peter Brown, this small Harlem-based imprint garnered a massive reputation in the late 70s and early 80s turning out some of the best disco tracks ever made. First up here is NY disco funk favourite 'Dance Freak' from Chain Reaction. Produced by Peter Brown himself, this is pure dancefloor dynamite, as raw and funky as it gets with pumping horns, grinding bass, wild percussion and crazy synths building steadily to a high-octane blistering dancefloor freakout! On the flip is the equally fantastic 'Shout At the Disco' from Little Scotty, another relentless rough grooving jam, also produced by the prolific Mr B.
