In the past years JR&PH7 have become a household name on the international Hip Hop scene. After releasing two critically acclaimed albums (2009's "The Standard" and 2010's "The Update") they are now teaming up with Brokn Englsh and St. Joe Louis to bring you the "My Favorite Demons" EP.
Hailing from New Jersey, Brokn Englsh is a powerhouse group comprised of Myk Dyaleks, Cion Burris and Lyriq2Go. Soulful and intricate lyricism paired with tons of charisma is what best describes the three mcs, who have created a nice buzz for themselves through several releases on the underground scene. Elete Wright, Tommie Chase and Michael Cardigan make up St. Joe Louis. Also representing New Jersey, the trio is well known for their candid approach and transparent delivery and is considered one of the most promising up and coming groups from the east. On this 9 track EP, JR&PH7 deliver a sample-heavy backdrop for the dense storytelling by the six emcees, who paint a revealing picture about the daily struggles of life and their relationships to the opposite sex. After meeting and discovering the mutual musical chemistry on JR&PH7's US trip last year, the three crews quickly decided to work on a joint project, which now sees the light of day with the release of "My Favorite Demons". |
