Pseudo Slang is originally from Buffalo New York and now based in Chicago Illinois linking the talents of an amazing collective of Producers and Dj’s, but of course the voice of Pseudo Slang, Emcee Sick at the forefront with the one and only Dj Form! The first contact between Sick and Uncle Corn (ThinkLoud) came about when Corn recorded an interview with Sick for his radio show on Soulsender. They kept in touch and only a few weeks later they organized a European tour for Pseudo Slang. That was back in 2009. Since then Pseudo Slang toured two more times overseas and always made a stop at Trucker Stroe’s studio in Berlin. As the main producer and one of the founders of ThinkLoud, Stroe already worked with artist from overseas like Aloe Blacc, Grant Agent, Kev Brown and Oddisee. This 7" presents two songs of the recording sessions of Pseudo Slang and Trucker Stroe and provides an insight to their collaboration. |
