Top quality remastered reissue of Ike Strong's disco boogie classic Boogie Land. Originally released back in 1981 on the tiny underground disco label Willker, this dancefloor bomb is now hugely in-demand.
Both sides are absolute killers - the A side features great vocals from Ike Strong over super funky phat bass and wah wah guitars but don't forget the flip side where the groove get stripped down to the bare instrumental funk with just the relentless driving female vocal "You can't help but dance when you hear it Boogie land" - she couldn't be more right! Must have. |
