Enter Gonjasufi, who as if coming from another plane has delivered an enigmatic opus A Sufi & A Killer. Taken from his debut album comes 3rd single �Kobwebz/ Speaketh� releasing April 6 - yet another distinct track from this diverse and strange collection of songs.
The album track 'Kobwebz' and the exclusive non-album track 'Speaketh' are products of the Gaslamp Killer and GonjaSufi's tele-beard production methods, combining garage sitars and ancient bass tones with a guttural hoarse holler to sound like little else out there. Kobwebz' is one of the album's finest moments while 'Speaketh' sounds like some blues-raga meditation unearthed from William Burroughs' private Moroccan archives. These are two psych-out gems from the one and only Gonjasufi.
