This is the second 7inch in a series of 4 featuring tracks taken from the forthcoming Producer 2 album set for release in the Autumn by our very own Fat City Recordings! This 7 features San Fran based Low Limit, one half of Lazer Sword. They describe their sound as ´your favourite top 40 rap shit chopped up into a tornado filled with razor blades and molasses or Frank Zappa rocking the home made Lil John tank top at the rooftop party´.Mr Dibiase is an old head from L.A beat scene whos been doing his thing for over 10 years. He´s opened shows for MF Doom, GZA and J Zone and collaborates with the likes of Ras G and Flying Lotus. His productions run from 8 bit classics to seductive soul to raw grungy bangers. "May The Force" falls into the latter of these styles and is an extra heavy, deeply compressed club rocker which switches between a chop up of the Star Wars (Death Star) OST and a lo-fi rendition of the same piece. |
