Trevor & Lisa is a Parisian funk band that mixes live funk with electronics in a very original way. The band, made up of 8 musicians, has toured the major French clubs for the past 3 years, mixing its original cuts with unusual covers as well as live "bootleg" funky versions of hip-hop tracks. Every performance is fun and refreshing, a dance floor filling event. Their first 7" single on Favorite Recordings includes a cover of The Night Of The Wolf (the obscure "Al Foster Band" track unearthed by Keb Darge), which is their own reworking of the original track in a dance-floor oriented way that will have everyone banging., a perfect addition to battle or club djs’ bags… The second track "Theme of Trevor & Lisa" is the band’s anthem, featuring talkbox lead vocals and catchy brass themes, over an addictive pumping groove.
