DIVERSION TACTICS proudly present “The Adventures Of Robot Boy", aka the stratospheric metal child with learning difficulties. You may recognize him from his outings as DT’s Chubby Alcoholic, who has spat alongside such microphone conquistadors as J-Zone, Blade, the legendary Percee P, or the even more legendary Tim Dog. This eighth EP on Boot sees the intergalactic adventurer wunderkind warrior team up with VERB T1000 and KASHMACHINE on some space age, cold war type shit. The title track, ‘Robot Boy’ is a high tech mishmash of heavyweight drums, stabbing horns and sci-fi weirdness, as Robot Boy is unleashed into space. ‘Deadlock’ sees him pit his wits against the demonic ‘negro magneto’, Kashmachine, who smokes blunts spangled with stardust. ‘2084′ sees robot boy meet Verb T1000, a Robocop who goes loco on his brainwashing masters, sparking a revolution. |
