2nd single off his latest deliciousness "beauty and the beat" - to be honest, a rap album going by this title is worth a purchase anyway, if it's just for that. Find fast-rap and old-school conoisseur fumbling (in a most subtle way) over words that rhyme, to a LSD spaced out psych-rock sample, choped up (and played backwards?) and rearranged to match boom bap vibes. On the flip Edan handles the noun beauty with smartness: "I use pens like hallucinogens so who can pretend that my music ain't a beautiful thing." Cute sais the crowd, as he flows on over orchestral strings...
