next to reaseonable doubt, you would ask yourself why jay couldnt step it up just a little bit more. But when you put this one next to blueprint 2, vol. 3, or dynasty, you would ask yourself why jay couldnt have put out three more albums like in my lifetime. This is a very good follow up album, you really cant compare it to reasonable doubt because RD is a classic. But like i said before you put this one next to some of jay's more recent albums (aside from black album and blueprint) and you learn to appreciate in my lifetime, vol. 1 alot more.
