Those rough, dusty jazz samples are back at least on Sach's "L.I.F.E. Gives." The catchy guitar lick and clarinet samples meld nicely with the upbeat drums. Sach's rhymes are nice, and he sounds somewhat like Rakka of Dilated. This is some nice, laid-back stuff. Give this one a listen. (produced by Omid)
"Black Earth" is some more laid-back material from Sach. The production this time is more mysterious with some subdued samples and some nice mid-temp percussion. Sach slows down his flow this time around, but comes off sounding a little like the Biz at times (it might just be me). It might get monotonous after a while, but it's still good and worthy of a listen. |
